Terms of Entry

Surbhi Garba Festival — Chattarpur Farms

By purchasing/possessing a ticket or entering the venue, the attendee (“Participant”) agrees to abide by the following Terms & Conditions, which are binding and non-negotiable.

1. Nature of Event & Admission

  • This is a Hindu Cultural Festival (Garba Utsav), celebrated as a devotional and traditional gathering.
  • It is not a commercial dance event, and entry is strictly restricted to Hindu devotees, subject to the absolute discretion of the organizers.
  • Organizers reserve the unqualified right of admission, even to valid ticket holders, without obligation to assign reasons.
  • Aadhaar Card issued by Government of India must be produced at entry. Acceptance of any other Photo ID is subject to organizers’ discretion and may delay entry.

2. Age Policy

  • Event is open to all age groups.
  • Children below 10 years are free but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

3. Dress Code & Decency

  • Participants must attend in traditional Indian attire only (e.g., chaniya choli, kurta-pyjama, saree, dhoti-kurta).
  • Western casual wear such as jeans, t-shirts, shorts, skirts, or revealing outfits are strictly prohibited.
  • Organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any person not dressed in accordance with the cultural and devotional decorum of the festival.
  • Decency in dressing and behavior is mandatory at all times.

4. Tickets & Wristbands

  • Tickets once purchased are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-replaceable under any circumstances.
  • Internet handling/convenience charges are additional and non-refundable.
  • This is a wristband-only event. Wristbands that are damaged, tampered, or lost will not be reissued or honored. Entry will be denied without a valid wristband.

5. Security & Prohibited Items

  • All persons and belongings are subject to frisking/security checks. Refusal to comply will result in denial of entry without refund.
  • Strictly prohibited:
    • Bags, backpacks, handbags (no storage available).
    • Alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, e-cigarettes, narcotics, or banned substances.
    • Outside food/drinks (except baby food).
    • Professional cameras, GoPros, drones, or recording devices (unless expressly authorized).
    • Sharp objects, arms, ammunition, fireworks, lighters, chemicals, sprays, perfumes, deodorants, helmets.
    • Pets/animals or any unauthorized items.
  • Possession/use of banned or illegal substances will lead to immediate expulsion and handover to law enforcement.

6. Behavior & Conduct

  • Participants must act responsibly and respectfully towards fellow attendees, performers, and staff.
  • Harassment, violence, unsafe dancing, or disorderly conduct will result in removal without refund, and may invite police action.
  • Any damage to venue property/equipment shall be recovered from the responsible person(s), who will also be liable for prosecution and compensation.

7. Health, Safety & Liability

  • Attendance is entirely at the participant’s own risk. Organizers bear no liability for injury, illness, accident, medical emergency, or death.
  • Organizers are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
  • First-aid and limited medical assistance will be available. Participants must carry their own prescribed medication.
  • Food/beverage consumption inside the venue is at participant’s own risk; organizers disclaim liability for adverse effects.

8. Parking

  • General parking is free. Premium parking is available at additional cost.
  • All vehicles are parked at the owner’s sole risk. Organizers assume no responsibility for theft, damage, or loss.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

  • No refunds on purchased tickets under any circumstances, except if the event is cancelled due to denial of mandatory government permissions.
  • Refunds in such cases will be processed solely at organizers’ discretion.
  • Internet handling/convenience charges are non-refundable.

10. Event Changes & Force Majeure

  • Organizers reserve the right to alter/modify/cancel the schedule, performances, or lineup without prior notice.
  • The event may be curtailed, postponed, or cancelled due to force majeure (natural calamities, strikes, curfews, government orders, fire, technical failures, pandemics, etc.).
  • Refunds/rescheduling in such cases shall be at the sole discretion of the organizers and their decision will be final and binding.

11. Photography, Filming & Media

  • Entry constitutes irrevocable consent for organizers to record, photograph, or film participants.
  • Participants grant organizers worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free rights to use such images/videos across all media, without any compensation.
  • Unauthorized recording, live streaming, or professional filming is strictly prohibited.

12. Indemnity

By entering the venue, participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, venue owners, and staff from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of attendance, conduct, or violation of these terms.

13. Legal & Jurisdiction

  • Organizers’ decisions regarding the event are final and binding.
  • All disputes are subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of competent courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra.
